Re-juvenation Art

About the project
Re-Juvenation is a site-specific art exhibition and urban art intervention staged in Newburgh, New York. Conceived as an invitation for artists to use the city’s urban fabric as a creative medium, the exhibition examines the adaptive reuse of architectural spaces and community-driven initiatives for neighborhood revitalization.
The project brings together artists, architects, urban planners, and local residents to explore how art can act as an agent of change within urban contexts. Through painting, sculpture, photography, installation, video, sound, and performance, the exhibition highlights the potential of public spaces as catalysts for artistic and social regeneration.
Exhibition venues ranged from lobbies and tunnels to open streetscapes, creating both challenges and opportunities for site-responsive experimentation. Each work was developed in dialogue with the physical and social landscape of Newburgh, inspiring new ways to investigate, imagine, and activate the city’s cultural and spatial futures.
My Role.
As part of the curatorial and planning team, I collaborated on the concept development, artist coordination, and spatial design of the exhibition.
I worked closely with the artists on every stage — from background composition and lighting design to the final spatial presentation, ensuring that each installation achieved both visual harmony and contextual depth.
